IGATE call letter delay

I have just graduated from Mumbai university with a 73%(second rank in my college). Earlier in Feb, i recieved my offer letter from the then iGATE-PATNI. now I am idle an am ready to work, but the problem is I havent received my call letter yet. I sent an email to them stating the same but havent received a reply yet... I hope the call letters are sent sooner... Also ive heard that last year a lot of the freshers were eliminated during their training, i would like to know why is it so severe, after all we worked very hard to get through the interview sessions...

Beware of iGATE HR they think that they are the smartest people on plannet earth, they dont even know how small and sailing is their company. They try to negotiate salary in a bad manner with experienced and higly qualified people.... hahaha they are a joking lot ....

I was placed in igate through campus placement in oct 2011. I recieved my offer latter by nov. But i have not recieved my joining letter yet.I am already passout. And waiting for the Joining. kindly give some information about that.

I was placed in iGATE om campus. With me 13 more candidates got place and recieved offer letter. But still din't recieved my offer. Even compan is saying my name is not in their database.

What should I do?

hi ITProfessional... my campus placement happened on 23rd,december 2011. And i recieved my offer letter in February. Thats the situation when it comes to campus placements. Im not sure about the walkins. There wont be any more interview rounds since you are an experienced professional. If at all there is it would be written tests. There are a lot of people still awaiting their call letters. I hope IGate sends them at the earliest

Hi All,

I attended an interview with iGATE. It was a walk in for experienced professionals. I completed the HR round the same day itself and also handed over the documents like 3 months payslip and hike letter from my previous company. Again after 2 days I got a call from HR and it was for salary negotiations. After it finished they told that they will mail me in couple of days. How many days does it take for iGATE to release the offer letter? Will there be any more rounds of interview?
